All divers are required to hold an International SCUBA diving licence, which you will be required to produce along with your logbook at the dive centre before diving.

Maldivian Regulations include:
1. All divers must dive in buddy pairs or with a guide
2. No dive deeper than 30m
3. All dives should be no decompression dives

At Divers Haven we provide complimentary diving insurance with DAN Maldives, which covers recompression accidents for the duration of your stay. All divers must wait at least 24 hours boarding their internation flight and 16 hours before any seaplane transfer.

Recompression chambers are located within 30 minutes speed boat transfer from each Divers Haven dive centre.

All certified divers must participate in a local orientation dive, as part of Maldivian diving regulations.

Anyone wishing to participate in any diving activity must complete the PADI medical statement satisfactorily, please note that if you have any problems with the medical statement you should obtain a letter from your doctor stating that your are fit to dive.
